THE DAiry cottage | 4 person max.

Perched higher up the hill is the renovated Dairy Cottage. Nestled in the trees, it is quiet & private, surrounded by gardens and has private parking. Enjoy the large open front verandah, a perfect spot to breakfast or lounge around, enjoy the summer breeze and lovely views of the valley. The rear patio is a great spot to enjoy the winter sun with garden and woodland views. Inside, enjoy snuggling in front of the wood fire, read a book or enjoy the views through the French doors. Or grab one of our outdoor throw rugs and enjoy the fire pit garden with seating to enjoy star spotting.

The Dairy has two bedrooms with ensuites, choose between a queen room or twin king singles (which can be made to a king bed upon request). Have a wonderful night’s sleep in our quality bedding and wake up to beautiful views from your bed.

Each bathroom offers modern facilities and heating for those chilly winters. Spoil yourself with our lovely, quality hypo-allergenic body products and bedding provided for your stay. Heated towel warmers and quality towels are provided in each bathroom for your convenience.

A galley kitchen has all the appliances and basics for a quick cook-up or choose the rear outdoor BBQ patio for a different flavour.

All outdoor spaces cater for the seasons for relaxation and comfort.

ACCESSIBILITY: While the Dairy Cottage is not fully accessible, the cottage has “easy access” for those uneasy on their feet. There is one step up to the house level from both the verandah and rear deck. Parking is direct at the rear deck. Bedroom 2 features flat access into the bathroom and shower.

My 14 year old daughter and I needed an escape from the city and this beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations. The location is remote enough to feel like you in an idyllic countryside but close enough to a village for a spot of dinner, breakfast or coffee. Heather was an incredibly thoughtful host, she was exceptional at settling us in but also providing a good overview of local spots to visit on our stay. The fireplace and living area is cosy but quite roomy as well. You will want for nothing at this beautiful get away, Heather has truly thought of every amendment possible! ps the views from the balcony are stunning. We are already looking forward to a future stay.

If you looking for a place to relax and wind down - Hollybroke is the right choice ! The local cafe and restaurants are only 10mins away, we love going there for breakfast and coffee ! Heather and Brett are amazing host , very thoughtful and the place has everything you'll need. They are very friendly and have great suggestions on local food and places to go! We will definitely come back again for another getaways!

We would definitely recommend staying at Hollybrook for your next Hunter Valley getaway. Heather and Brett were such lovely hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage is private, with lovely views, a cosy living area with fire place, air conditioning for those warmer days, comfortable beds and two modern bathrooms. The small touches were what made our stay truly great. We look forward to returning again next year!

If you get the chance to stay here I highly recommend that you take it. Heather and Brett are the friendliest of couples and their place is even more perfect than the photos suggest. We were a group of 4 and all I can say is that we have never had a better air bnb experience between us. The small details just made the whole stay incredible, if we had questions they were straight on it and were always happy to help out with suggestions around the area. The only problem we had was that we wanted to rebook for early next year but they were already booked. But that just means that we have to make another trip out for a long weekend. Couldn’t speak more highly of them both as hosts and the accommodation (oh and potentially the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in) Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend

Pretty as a picture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holbrook. The location was stunning looking out over the dairy each morning and watching the fog clear. Also close to Wollombi - a quaint little town and a nice distance from all the main winery attractions (about 30-40 min drive) that you feel tucked away in your own paradise. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was stylish and modern, the living space was very comfortable with choice of log fire or aircon and the kitchen was fitted out with all you need for a short stay. Plus we were treated to a beautiful bottle of local wine and some cheese and bickies from heather on arrival. Plus we booked into heathers art class - if you have time don’t skip this. It was an amazing way to start the day. Thank you for having us Heather, we will be back.

This is a beautiful property owned by a wonderful host. My wife and I had such a lovely time staying at Hollybrook. The well-appointed unit had everything we needed - the indoor fireplace was especially cozy with plenty of firewood provided for us. Any issues or questions were quickly addressed by Heather & Brett and their hospitality was second to none. We would have no problem staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hollybrook and would highly recommend for a trip away in the Hunter. Heather and Brett are amazing hosts, made us feel so welcome, and had some great recommendations for local wineries and cafes. The cottage had everything we needed (and more!) and was incredibly cosy and comfortable! Make sure you try the Art n Sip class with Heather during your stay - such a great experience in a beautiful setting!!

Perfect weekend !! The place is incredible and definitely exceeded our expectations! The hosts are amazing people - friendly, caring and the communication was great. They gave us an amazing complimentary white wine, the kitchen was fully equipped, with some cheese, bread, and all ingredients to make bruschettas and thanks to their recommendations we explored for the first time the Broke area and got to know a new side of Hunter - even nicer than the famous and sometimes busy Pokolbin. The cottage - cosy, clean, nice & warm, decoration and design that makes you wish to build a house just like that! We can’t recommend Hollybrook - Dairy Cottage enough! We’re going back there soon without a doubt!

A memorable experience, a place to relax and enjoy the wollombi surroundings. Hollybrook will exceed your expectations. Very well presented, immaculate clean, very comfortable bed ( fresh and ironed linen ) , high level of attention of details and love in every corner of this place. Highly recommended.
